Consisting for geographically and historically varied states like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Daman & Diu, Maharashtra and Goa, the Western region of India has a varied variety of history related to it simultaneous making it a distinct assortment of people. The land of Kings Rajasthan is a place where one can see people from different classes coexisting with utmost harmony, one the one hand is the royalty who despite of shedding away all the lofty titles in post independence era even today live a life full of grandeur and luxury having huge palaces at their disposal as well as antique luxury cars and carts are what define their lives full of luxury on the other hand the rural people who stick to their simplistic lifestyle, happily with the minimalistic of everything possible. Rajasthanis including castes like Meenas, Gurjars, Ahirs, Rajputs, Kanjar etc. have been living in Rajasthan since time immemorial. The erstwhile state of Alwar is probably the oldest region in the state making the people from this region one of the oldest survivors of Indian History. The state also consists of Jats who traditionally are agriculture based community spread across Northern part of Indian now. Thanks to the massive body built, great valor and strength possessed by Rajputs these people are considered to be the best of Soldiers in the entire country.

Maharashtra, a home to the diverse industry of Bollywood where everything one sees is majorly acting and drama is indeed a city filled with simplistic lifestyle despite of being the revenue capital of the country the people of Maharashtra know how to keep it simple and stick to their roots. Humid weather, plenty of monsoon showers and the constant busy city of Maharashtra knows how to keep it simple. Be it the traditional food, attire or their simple rustic lifestyle of the people with the utmost belief in the fundamentals of universal brotherhood, a state where people from distinct religion and cultures, live as one community coexisting in harmony. Holy pilgrimage site for revered Bhakti saints like Sai Baba, Sufi saint like Haji Ali who preached peace and non violence throughout life. All these elements combined together is what indeed what makes the state a true melting pot for several cultures and traditions to coexist at the same time.

The part capital of India- Goa oweing to the centuries of Portuguese colonization indeed possesses a distinct set of people who as compared to the rest of India have a different lifestyle altogether be it their day to day life, eating- dressing culture or architecture the city even today breathes in different air, people from Goa popularly called ‘Goans’ comprise predominantly of Christian and Hindu majority people, Konkani is the mother tongue for majority of people with Hindi or English as their second language. The main occupation of these people is fishing thanks to the vast stretch of Arabian Sea connecting the beautiful beaches in Goa. A popular tourist attraction with peaceful, friendly and fun loving happy go lucky nature of people makes the city a place to be where one can relax, take a day off on a two wheeler roaming around the pleasant city.
